Your Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, order necessary diagnostic tests, and create personalized care plans
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or as part of a collaborative effort with physicians.
• Guide patients and their families in understanding wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies

Essential Education

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
