This role is essential to supporting both our clients and our internal staff, so if you’re the kind of person who follows established processes, learns quickly, and notices when something falls outside the norm, this role is a strong fit. Familiarity with tax forms/returns a plus but not required.
Salary $19.00-$24.00 plus bonus DOE; Generous Paid Time Off, Health, Vision, Life & AD&D Insurance, performance bonuses, 401K with company match, discounts, great team environment. We work hard and reward ourselves for it...A LOT!
What You’ll Do?
- Review and manage a high volume of incoming emails, ensuring each message is responded to, sorted, or escalated appropriately.
- Communicate with clients (occasionally under high stress) using patience, professionalism, and effective customer service techniques.
- Ensure accurate information is relayed, and the correct next steps are taken to ensure all team members are aligned.
- Assist with general administrative tasks that keep the team organized and efficient.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates should:
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients who may be stressed or overwhelmed.
- Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Be a self-disciplined self-starter
- Ability to work independently but can work well in a team environment where we depend on each other.
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, and repeat.
- Willingness to learn and show up ready to contribute.
- Previous customer service and office experience.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Comfortability with following and enhancing procedures.
- Solid computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, comfortable learning new applications, remote tools, and general computer proficiency.
- Comfort working within Windows environments.
- Some familiarity with tax forms and returns a plus but not required. We will provide training one way or the other.
Things to Note:
- Our work includes four major annual deadlines (March 15, April 15, September 15 & October 15), during which we have blackout dates (no PPTO) to ensure we meet client and compliance requirements.
- We maintain a business‐professional dress code to reflect the level of service and professionalism our clients expect.
