Bartender Supervisor

Overview Join a dynamic opening team in a historic renovated building with a unique concept! The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a Bartender Supervisor to lead bar operations, support the bartending team, and deliver an engaging beverage experience. Position Summary The Bartender Supervisor provides hands‑on leadership behind the bar while maintaining beverage quality, service standards, inventory controls, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service. This role combines bartending expertise with shift leadership and team support. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day bar operations and provide hands‑on support during service Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non‑alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards Train, coach, and support bartenders and other team members assigned to the bar Maintain consistency in drink preparation, presentation, portioning, and guest service Engage guests, provide beverage recommendations, and create a welcoming bar experience Support inventory counts, product organization, requisitions, and awareness of beverage usage Monitor bar setup, cleanliness, sanitation, glassware, garnishes, and operating supplies Ensure accurate POS transactions, guest checks, room charges, cash handling, and shift closeout procedures Monitor responsible alcohol service and follow applicable policies and procedures Address guest concerns professionally and involve restaurant or hotel leadership when appropriate Coordinate with culinary and front‑of‑house teams to maintain efficient service flow Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures Qualifications 2+ years of bartending or bar leadership experience preferred Strong cocktail, beer, wine, and beverage knowledge Previous supervisory or shift‑lead experience preferred Strong guest service, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced bar environment Flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability Compensation $24–$28/hour + tips What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and position Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding hospitality portfolio Dynamic, team‑oriented culture Opportunity to be part of an exciting hotel opening Schedule Primarily PM/evening shifts Weekends and holidays as business demands Why Join Us?
