APPLY TODAY at View email address on click.appcast.io About the Opportunity:- The CMM Programmer is responsible for the management and operation of CMM measuring instruments and programs.
- This includes ensuring procedures are followed, resolving quality related issues, periodic inspection and calibration of measuring instruments to ensure measurement reliability, generation of reports, tracking of data, and recommendation of process improvements.
- In this role, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM) systems to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and precision
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso CMM, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of CMMs and quality control procedures
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting
- Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMM programs, fixturing and measuring instruments to maintain smooth operational performance
- Works closely with engineering and production teams during product validation process and to solve quality problems in the manufacturing process.
- Devise strategies for system enhancements which assure long range integrity and cost effectiveness of the measurement system.

- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in precision machining (aerospace defense) industry environment.
- 3 years of experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and operating in a 3D Measuring Environment
- Associate Degree
- Experience with MSA and Gauge R&R activities.
- Able to communicate in basic English
- Possess diverse knowledge and experience in CMM operation capabilities and manual measuring instruments
- In-depth understanding of technical documentation (Drawing, specifications, etc.)
- Possess basic knowledge of product defect analysis and process management
- Basic Knowledge Computer skills(Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present data effectively
- Problem-solving skills
- Team working skills
- Zeiss Calypso experience
