Medical Assistant - Part-Time (Middletown)

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical assistant to join our well established independent physician's office on a part-time basis of 4 days per week. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, has excellent people skills, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• • Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, and EKGs as permitted by training and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient communications.
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
  • Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Friendly, positive and patient-focused attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a busy office setting
  • Proficiency with basic computer and office software applications
  • Medical assistant certification preferred

Schedule:

• • Part-Time 4 days a week 8am-4:30pm
