Part-Time Lunch Clerk

Kingston Hill Academy is seeking a dependable, organized, and student-centered individual to serve as a Part-Time Lunch Clerk in our elementary school. The Lunch Clerk will assist with the daily operation of the school lunch period, serve prepared food and help provide a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for students.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist with lunch service and daily cafeteria operations
• Support students during scheduled lunch periods
• Assist with student meal counts and basic lunch-related recordkeeping
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and positive cafeteria environment
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with students, staff, and food-service personnel
• Reinforce school expectations and appropriate student behavior during lunch
• Follow all school procedures related to student safety, confidentiality, and food-service operations
• Perform other lunch-related duties as assigned by school administration
• Serve food
• Clean the kitchen space

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance
• Ability to work effectively and positively with elementary-aged students
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and directions
• Prior experience working in a school, cafeteria, food-service, or clerical environment is preferred but not required

Position Details:

This is a part-time position consisting of 2.5 hours per day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, for a total of 7.5 hours per week. Training and courses will be provided. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and rsum to Kingston Hill Academy.
