Global Product Manager

Job DescriptionThe product manager will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for Motorola's Device portfolio including interfacing with engineering, supply chain, marketing, sales and finance.The product manager analyzes market and competitive conditions and lays out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands. The role of the product manager spans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides cross-functional leadership — bridging gaps within the company between different functions, especially between development, sales and marketing, and support.The product manager is the person responsible for defining the 'why', 'what', 'where', and 'when' of the product that the development team will build. They are the owner of their product — which means they lead cross-functional teams from a product's conception through to its launch.Product management responsibilities include:Product StrategyCreate and manage the product portfolio, roadmap, vision and backlogIdentify customer needs and market requirementsEvaluate competitive intelligenceDefine financial goalsCreate business plans and proposals for new initiativesStrategic partner and third party supplier managementProduct ReleasesEstablish vision and goals for releasesDefine market offer and structureWork with enablement organizations to make products orderable and deliverableDefine and support implementation of training, support and deployment requirementsManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and qualityCoordinate overall release project and scheduleProduct VisioningGather customer and sales feedbackGather voice of customer inputFeature DefinitionCreate user stories and scenariosDirect and approve UI/UX activitiesDefine acceptance criteria, KPIs and SLAsGo-to-market SupportFacilitate sales and channel trainingAssist pre-sales with custom project requestsDefine and ensure implementation of GTM assets including demo environments, training materials, and presentationsDemonstrate new pre-release featuresTarget Base Salary Range: $110,100 - $146,200 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
