We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Trucking & Logistics Customer Service Representative to support daily transportation operations and serve as a primary point of contact for customers. This position is responsible for coordinating shipments, providing timely updates, resolving issues, and working closely with drivers, dispatchers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently from pickup to delivery.

This is a fast-paced logistics environment where employees may handle multiple shipments and customer requests simultaneously. The successful candidate should be dependable, organized, responsive, and comfortable working under time-sensitive conditions.

SHIFT: 11AM-7PM OR 12-8PM

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers, drivers, carriers, and dispatch.
• Track shipments and provide customers with accurate updates on shipment status and estimated delivery times.
• Monitor loads from pickup through final delivery and follow up on delays or service issues.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and requests while providing timely solutions.
• Communicate delays, missed appointments, changes, and other transportation issues to customers.
• Coordinate delivery appointments and confirm pickup and delivery information.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in transportation management systems (TMS).
• Prepare, review, and maintain bills of lading, proof of delivery, and other transportation documents.
• Work with dispatch and operations teams to resolve scheduling and routing issues.
• Follow up on missing paperwork, delivery confirmations, and freight-related documentation.
• Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and customer account questions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and shipment activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and transportation partners.
• Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, transportation, trucking, logistics, dispatch, or freight experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfortable working with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and transportation or logistics software.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling customer complaints or time-sensitive issues.
• Experience with TMS or transportation software.
• Experience coordinating LTL, FTL, freight, or local/regional transportation.
• Knowledge of trucking terminology, shipping documentation, and delivery procedures.
• Experience communicating with drivers, brokers, carriers, warehouses, and customers.
