Job Overview University of Michigan Health-West invites applications for a focused clinical cognitive neurologist to join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing and managing adult neurological conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing patient and family support. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of adult neurological conditions (headache, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, neuromuscular disorders, etc.). Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and advanced practice providers in multidisciplinary treatment planning. Engage in comprehensive stroke care and sub‑specialized ambulatory care. Stay current with emerging therapies and clinical trial opportunities. Educate and mentor medical students and residents. Develop strong relationships with patients and families, offering emotional support throughout the treatment journey. Qualifications Medical or osteopathic degree (MD/DO). Board certification in neurology or equivalent and a fellowship in cognitive neurology. Full‑time, FTE: 1 with a willingness to collaborate within the University of Michigan Health-West system.
