Description: This facility has 176 beds and is a Level 2 Trauma Center. It features a Level 2 NICU and has earned Magnet designation. The Imaging department includes combined Cath Lab and IR with dedicated staff for each area. There are 4 procedure rooms, with the pre and post area staffed by a different unit. Patient types include invasive cardiology, structural heart procedures, AAA repairs, TAVRs, and ablations in the Cath Lab. In Interventional Radiology, procedures include biopsies and peripheral interventions. The patient care ratio in the procedure room is 3 staff members: 2 nurses and 1 tech. Required skills for Nurses include recording and circulating procedures, along with administering moderate sedation, which will be signed off onsite. Technicians should have experience in scrubbing and recording procedures. Charting systems used include EPIC and MERGE. Staff may float between the Cath Lab and IR based on their skillset. Scheduling involves weekend call rotations. Nurses may expect to be on call for one week every three weeks. Technicians may expect to be on call for one week every three or four weeks, depending on their role. Holiday expectations include being on call as needed. Scrub colors for procedures are specified. This position offers free parking.
