Vibrant Sunshine Juicery Cafe, the newest location for the Pittsburgh Juice Company, is opening soon in Aspinwall. We are on the lookout for positive, enthusiastic individuals to join our team! As a member of our kitchen and juice production team, you will play the vital role of preparing food from our plant‑centric menu and making our organic cold‑pressed juices. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about cleanliness, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy contributing in a collaborative, supportive, inclusive work environment. Responsibilities Following food and beverage recipes with attention to detail Daily preparation of fresh, organic ingredients and dishes with consistency in portions and taste Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities throughout the day Collaborate daily with a multi‑functional team in‑person and via messaging Following detailed instruction and established processes (written and verbal options available) Operating a commercial cold‑press juicing machine and other kitchen equipment Regularly lifting produce boxes and juice crates up to 45 lbs Thorough sanitation, dish washing, and maintenance of kitchen equipment Occasionally being featured on our social media Qualifications Proven experience as a cook in a fast‑paced restaurant or café environment. Enthusiasm for maintaining a thoroughly clean, sanitary, and orderly work space. Deep understanding of food safety protocols, cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Demonstrated ability to focus on tasks with careful attention to detail. Knowledge and willingness to learn about vegan cooking techniques. ServSafe certification preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 lbs safely and without causing harm. Physical agility to perform tasks that involve dexterity and fine motor skills. Standing for extended periods, while maintaining continuous presence and attention. Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and pouring.I Maintain physical stamina and energy levels necessary for the dynamic pace and environment. Comfort working in an environment that includes medium‑to‑high volume equipment sounds. Ability to ingest tree nuts and other potential allergens without adverse reaction.
