By partnering directly with universities, the company helps reduce move-out congestion and improve the experience for students and campuses. College Cubbies aims to become the preferred storage partner for universities nationwide and offers motivated students the chance to contribute to this growth. Role Description The Student Marketing Ambassador - Pepperdine/USC/Chapman is a part-time, on-site role based in Malibu, Orange, and Los Angeles, California, supporting outreach and brand awareness among Pepperdine students. In this role, the ambassador promotes College Cubbies' services through on-campus tabling, flyers, classroom announcements (where permitted), and peer-to-peer conversations. The ambassador helps organize and execute student-focused marketing campaigns, including social media posts, email outreach, and referral programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering student questions, guiding interested customers through the sign-up process, and gathering feedback to improve messaging and service. The ambassador collaborates with the core College Cubbies team, provides regular updates on campus activities and results, and may assist in training new student team members. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to engage with diverse student audiences. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on being approachable, responsive, and helpful when supporting students and campus partners. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to effectively promote services, convert interest into sign-ups, and support campus campaigns. Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to learn processes quickly and help onboard or guide fellow student team members. Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with social media marketing, a proactive and organized work style, reliable time management, and an interest in entrepreneurship or campus leadership.
