Sr. Manager North America Design Assurance - Columbus, OH

Abbott is seeking a Senior Manager for North America Design Assurance to lead the design and assurance team based in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities Lead and develop a high‑performing team to execute multiple concurrent programs, ensuring delivery against operational, quality, and compliance objectives. Ensure end‑to‑end compliance with corporate, divisional, and regulatory requirements across quality systems, product outputs, and incoming materials through effective governance, documentation, and monitoring. Drive new product introduction (NPI) and lifecycle performance by partnering cross‑functionally to support innovation, product performance monitoring, and business growth initiatives. Provide global operational and quality leadership by supporting plant, quality assurance, and supply chain functions, including event management activities. Oversee product qualification and validation activities to align with divisional programs, standards, and strategic initiatives. Implement continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance, efficiency, and long‑term compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in applied, physical, or life science, engineering, or business (Master’s degree is a plus). Minimum seven years of experience in quality, supply chain, and manufacturing, or related areas. At least five years of supervisory management experience with a track record of success. Knowledge of GMP requirements, CFR, CODEX, and international regulatory standards for nutritional, medical, and dietary supplement products. Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and data‑analysis skills, with the ability to present technical recommendations to senior management. Proficiency in managing cross‑functional partnerships for new product introductions and lifecycle management. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary range: $129,300 – $258,700.
