Part Time | 15-22.5 hours per week
Job Summary
At Pearl Nursing Center of Rochester LLC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook to join our food service team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents. If you are passionate about cooking and providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this part-time opportunity.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including entrees, sides, and desserts, for our residents
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations
Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to our dietary guidelines and regulations
Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and execute menu items, catering to residents' dietary needs and preferences
Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of food and supplies
Participate in food safety and sanitation training, ensuring that all standards are met
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook or in a related field
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
