This position contributes to the success of the company as a key owner of competitive quote preparation, detailed cost reporting, and month-end financial reporting accuracy. This position reports to the Controller while also being a key contributor to the Engineering and Inside Sales teams.Does this work interest you?Prepare detailed price quotes based on customer RFQs (requests for quotation)Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs and ensure quotes meet margin targetsRevise quotes based on customer feedback or scope changesComplete "what-if" scenarios (volume, material cost changes, labor rates) and analyze the impact of volume discounts, customer specifications, and distributor discountsWork with engineering, project management, and procurement to validate costsOwn machine order setup and billing process, ensuring accurate, timely invoicing aligned with contractual terms and financial reporting requirementsBe the liaison for supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Shared Services teams, including Concur expense and invoicingPrepare and distribute weekly and monthly reporting, including continuously streamlining processes, aligning to business partners requirements, and leveraging new tools within ProMachAnalyze and prepare month-end Journal Entries along with being a key contributor and driver in determining ways to shorten the month-end timelineTake ownership of account reconciliation process to ensure alignment to the subledgerParticipate in audits & compliance reportingPartner with Sister companies on intercompany transitionsPartner with Controller, Project Managers and Sales team on the calculation, recording and streamlining of project percentage of completionReview General Ledger detail for any potential trending concerns and errors; follow-up with business partners and perform necessary correctionsSupport the Rennco/DJS Finance team, Rennco/DJS Inside Sales team, Rennco/DJS Leadership team, General Manager, VP of Finance, and Business Unit PresidentLearn and leverage new reporting tools, such as Spotlight and TableauIf this sounds like you we want to connect!Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years of financial reporting & cost accounting experienceExperience and strong skills in Excel and fully integrated ERP systemsStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Overall knowledge of Journal Entries and General Ledger reconciliationsDemonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data and trendsTeam player attitude is essential.Trustworthy with strong work ethicHigh organization & communication skillsStrong technical aptitudeDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverablesAbility to work with minimal direction – independent discretion judgmentCareful and regimented attention to detail requiredThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
