We work closely with Verizon and our brand partners to deliver exceptional product offerings, promotions, and campaigns that drive in-store traffic and revenue.The Strategic Sourcing Manager owns our key supplier relationships and the full contract lifecycle, from negotiation through renewal or exit. You will make sure every vendor delivers the value we pay for, every contract protects the company, and no renewal or obligation slips through the cracks. This role works with Legal, Finance, IT, Retail Operations, and senior leadership, and is the main point of contact for strategic vendors.Results Driven — Vendor and Contract PerformanceServe as the primary relationship owner for strategic and high-spend vendors, holding suppliers accountable for the value and service Victra expects.Lead quarterly business reviews using performance scorecards, service-level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).Run vendor due diligence and risk assessments covering financial health, data security, insurance, compliance, and business continuity.Draft, review, redline, and negotiate master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), amendments, and renewals in partnership with Legal.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service levels, liability, termination, and renewal clauses to deliver measurable value while protecting the company.Own the contract repository and lifecycle management system; keep records complete and searchable.Track key dates, auto-renewals, notice periods, and obligations, and alert stakeholders well ahead of deadlines.Monitor contract compliance, including billing against agreed pricing and SLA credits.Manage contract close-out, extension, renewal, and vendor offboarding.Customer Focus — Responsive Vendor ServicesAdopt vendor management and contracting best practices that meet internal stakeholders' needs and improve the service strategic vendors provide.Relationship Building — Cross Functional InfluenceBuild trusted relationships with strategic vendors and internal partners across Legal, Finance, IT, Retail Operations, and senior leadership.Resolve performance issues, escalations, and disputes, and drive corrective action plans while maintaining productive vendor relationships.Change Management — Process ImprovementBuild and maintain standard templates, clause libraries, and approval workflows.Develop and maintain vendor management and contracting policies and procedures.Strategic Thinking — Business Value and RiskSegment the vendor base by spend, risk, and criticality, and set the right level of oversight for each tier.Report on contract savings, cost avoidance, upcoming renewals, and vendor risk to leadership.Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, renegotiate terms, or add value, and guide stakeholders through resulting changes.Set vendor and contracting priorities aligned with stakeholder needs and Victra's business goals.Talent Management — Learning and Knowledge SharingPursue mentorship, feedback, and learning opportunities to strengthen negotiation and contract management expertise; share knowledge and provide guidance that helps business stakeholders improve contracting practices.Inspirational Leadership — Influence and AccountabilityTrain business stakeholders on the contracting process and policy, providing clear guidance that supports consistent execution.Model integrity, sound judgment, and dependable follow-through in vendor negotiations and contract decisions.RequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field (MBA or JD a plus)5+ years of experience in vendor management, contract management, or strategic sourcing, with measurable negotiation resultsStrong knowledge of commercial contract terms and risk allocationProven negotiator who can hold a firm position while keeping relationships strongExperience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) and procurement platformsStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to executivesHighly organized, with the ability to manage a large contract portfolio and competing deadlinesPreferredRetail, multi-unit, or telecommunications experienceExperience with technology, P2P, SaaS, facilities, or professional services contractsCertifications such as CPSM, CPCM, or World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC)Experience building a vendor management program from the ground upHow Success Is MeasuredNegotiated savings and cost avoidanceZero missed renewals or unplanned auto-renewalsPercentage of active contracts stored and tracked in the CLM systemVendor SLA performance and resolution time on escalationsStakeholder satisfaction with the contracting processWhy Join UsPaid training and career development opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Tuition reimbursement.Employee discounts on Verizon services.Referral bonuses.Career pathing opportunities.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer—and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status.
