Job Title
Under the general direction of the assigned administrator, performs a wide variety of advanced and complex secretarial duties at a continuation high school, adult school, or large school site. Employees in this classification receive limited supervision within a broad framework of policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At employee cost if hired): - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: High school diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five years of recent progressively responsible clerical experience or a combination of Associate in Arts degree or equivalent college-level training with two years of progressively responsible clerical experience.
*Inside clerical candidates - please call to see if typing certificate is needed. Typing Certificate Requirements: 1. Five (5) minute typing test. 2. Certificate must contain all of the following: - Name of person tested - Gross words per minute - Net words per minute - Duration of test (5 minutes) - Number of actual errors (not percentage) - Name of testing agency - Date of test - Verifier's signature TYPING CERTIFICATES OBTAINED ONLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Acceptable testing centers are College/University Test Centers, Employment Agencies, Manteca Adult School.
