Lab Assistant I -Temp to hire

Natera seeks a Laboratory Assistant I to support specimen processing and workflow management in a diagnostics laboratory. The temp-to-hire position involves receiving specimens, preparing samples for testing, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring timely delivery to appropriate lab stations.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in preparing specimens for laboratory testing
• Receive and route specimens to appropriate workflows and labs
• Enter patient data accurately into the Laboratory Inventory Management System
• Maintain sample organization through proper storage and disposal procedures
• Prepare samples for shipment and manage laboratory inventory and supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Science-related degree preferred
• Less than 1 year industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with Google Suites and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
