Leading the design of advanced cooling systems, the remote MEP Architect will optimize mechanical cooling solutions for high-density compute environments, focusing on innovative thermal solutions for AI infrastructure and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities Lead the design and optimization of mechanical cooling systems for high-density compute environments Develop and validate chilled water distribution systems and cooling equipment selections for reliability and efficiency Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of mechanical systems with facility and operational requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical discipline; professional licensure is a plus Minimum of 10 years of experience designing cooling systems for data centers or high-performance environments Hands-on experience with liquid cooling technologies for AI infrastructure or HPC applications Strong background in chilled water systems, hydronic controls, and commissioning activities Deep understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydronic system performance
