Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a role located in Bangor, Maine. The position involves working in an adult critical care and emergency environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bangor, ME
• Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Peds (RT PEDS)
• Schedule: Shift times are from 0645-1915 for day shifts and 1845-0715 for night shifts. Variable shifts may be available; most needs are during night hours.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license; candidates with extensive experience holding a CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) may be considered, along with BLS and NRP certifications. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Weekend rotation occurs every other weekend.
  • Voluntary on-call is available, requiring 2 hours prior to and after shifts.
  • Experience with critical care equipment such as oscillators and ventilators (Servo U, Servo I, Hamilton T1, Trilogy, V60, V30, EV300 for NICU only, Vero Biotech Nitric Delivery) is valuable.
  • Clinical responsibilities include airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, code blue response, inhaled medication administration.
  • Orientation includes one general shift plus one training shift per unit trained.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working with adult patients as well as NICU/PICU/Peds cases if posted.
  • Scrub color and on-site parking are flexible and available.
