Senior Associate

We are currently partnering with a well-established consulting firm that advises owners, investors, developers, and other stakeholders across a broad range of commercial real estate assets and projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Associate to join their Southeast team. This is a client-facing consulting role offering exposure to building assessments, technical due diligence, project advisory services, forensic investigations, and capital planning assignments across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout various stages of the asset lifecycle. Conduct site visits, field investigations, and property evaluations. Support technical assessments related to existing buildings, asset performance, and project risk. Participate in forensic investigations involving building systems, construction issues, defects, failures, or performance concerns. Review drawings, specifications, reports, contracts, budgets, and other project documentation. Prepare client-facing reports, findings, and recommendations. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups. Assist clients in understanding building conditions, potential liabilities, deferred maintenance considerations, and capital expenditure requirements. Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and responsiveness. Ideal Background Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related discipline. Professional registration or licensure preferred. Experience in consulting, design, construction, property assessments, forensic investigations, owner's representation, or related technical advisory services. Familiarity with commercial building systems, construction practices, and building performance evaluations. Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Comfortable working directly with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to balance technical responsibilities with project and client management.
