Salary: $55-$60/hr (negotiable)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile development methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Required Technical Skills

• Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, REST APIs
• Testing Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, BDD
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Database: SQL, Oracle, SQL Server
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Defect Management: Jira, Azure DevOps
• Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SDLC, STLC

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Strong programming and scripting capabilities.
• Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of API testing and database validation.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Experience testing microservices and cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Knowledge of security testing and accessibility testing.
• Experience leading automation initiatives and mentoring QA teams.

Compensation

Compensation: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour*

This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
