About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing critical support and resources to those affected by a complex and often misunderstood form of medical child abuse. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a growth mindset, responsible for program oversight, financial growth, and day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, team management, ensuring compliance, and enhancing brand awareness. The role demands a deep passion for the organization's mission, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in fundraising and financial management. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong background in nonprofit governance, experience in crisis intervention, and the ability to work with vulnerable populations in a trauma-informed manner. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years' of senior-level nonprofit management experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, including donor cultivation and grant writing, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Financial acumen is essential, with the ability to manage a budget and ensure long-term fiscal sustainability. The role requires a self-starting individual who can thrive in a remote work environment and is willing to travel as needed. The Executive Director will be the public face of the organization, so experience in public advocacy and a commitment to the values of the company are also key attributes.
