Desktop Support Technician - Kauai

*Job Description* TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large healthcare client in Lihue, Kauai. This role will be focused on a PC Lifecycle Replacement project, assisting with the deployment of new systems and decommissioning of legacy equipment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with desktop support, imaging, and troubleshooting, along with strong customer service skills to support end users in a clinical environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Image, configure, and deploy new desktop and laptop systems
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on end-user devices
* Decommission and properly dispose of outdated equipment
* Provide on-site technical support to healthcare staff and end users
* Assist with inventory tracking and asset management
* Ensure all work is completed in alignment with project timelines and standards
* Perform additional technical support duties as assigned
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
* Basic experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
* Experience with imaging and deploying devices (e.g., SCCM, MDT, or similar tools)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally when moving equipment
*Contract Details*
* *Duration:* 6-month contract to start, with potential for extensions
* *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
