Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities by providing customer‑focused services and supporting store operations. Essential Functions Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving service issues. Focusing on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance locating additional items. Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager. Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed. Providing customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as a growth opportunity. Embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, visual acuity for computer and small details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 21 hours per week. Time Type Part time. Shift Flexibility The required availability for this role includes all shifts from 8 am to 10 pm, Monday through Sunday. Weekend Shift Frequency Every other weekend required. Pay Range $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
