Possesses, maintains and enhances knowledge of all accrediting and/or regulatory agency standards (i.e. Joint Commission, DOH, etc.) Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. Demonstrates the knowledge & skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. Possessing an in-depth knowledge of medications and their uses. The staff pharmacist will provide professional services and support in the following distributive and clinical areas: Medication distribution and compounding Drug Information Education and Resource Materials Formulary Management/Drug Usage Adverse Drug Reactions Medication Error Prevention Nursing/Pharmacy Liaison Clinical Computer Applications Medication Use Evaluation Program Development and Implementation Lives the CARES values at all times. Flexibility is required Qualifications Current New York State Pharmacist registration. Accredited continuing education as required/defined by New York State Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm.
