Job Title: Electronics Assembly Technician

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling small electronic components for a variety of manufactured units in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. You will follow detailed work orders on a computer, use hand and power tools, and contribute to consistent, high-quality output on the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic parts and components according to detailed work orders and production specifications.
• Read and follow computer-based work orders accurately to ensure correct parts, tools, and processes are used.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform assembly tasks.
• Operate basic machinery and equipment related to the assembly and packaging of electronic units.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and understand computer-based work orders and follow written instructions accurately.
• Strong reading comprehension skills sufficient to follow detailed assembly procedures and safety guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with packaging processes for finished products in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working with small electronic components and attention to detail in handling sensitive parts.
• Ability to work effectively on different shifts, including early morning, evening, or weekend schedules.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a climate-controlled, clean, and well-maintained manufacturing facility focused on electronics assembly. You will work in the assembly department with small electronic components, using hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery. The environment emphasizes organization, safety, and adherence to quality standards. Required attire includes company-supplied smocks and ESD equipment to protect sensitive electronic parts. Multiple shift options are available: a first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, a second shift from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday, and a weekend shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday through Sunday, working 36 hours. The facility offers a structured, predictable schedule and a professional production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winona, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Winona,MN.
