Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.Essential Job Duties will include:Main point of contact for suppliers and supplier related issues in the facilitySite coordinator of defective packaging material databaseWorking with Packaging team to determine the root cause of supplier packaging problemsPursuance of timely compliance with packaging suppliers to ensure response of SCAR’sReporting out on supplier quality metricsSampling of incoming materials/ingredients to assure compliance with company standardsVerification of product labelling against standards and sample retention. Monitoring of system to assure label accuracy and conversions as needed.Review of incoming material COA, COC docs to company standardsSupport QA Management with product HOLD sampling and reporting to site managementEducation and Experience:BS/BA in related science2-5 years of manufacturing experience requiredExperience in a food manufacturing preferred.Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards and CIP sanitation.Strong Computer Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to work well with people.Communication skills are a must.Multi-tasked Individual.Ability to work independently.Physical Requirements:Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments.
