Registered Nurse (RN) - TeleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing direct patient care for individuals receiving treatment in a surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.Position InformationNumber of Openings: 2Shift: Nights, 1900-0700Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hoursAssignment Length: 13 weeksWeekend Hours: As required by the facilityCall Requirements: NoneQualificationsRequired Licensure: Current RN License in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure.Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only4 trauma credits OR completion within the first two weeks of employmentNIHSS certification (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start)Preferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA onlyYears of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in Telemetry nursingFloat Requirements: Will float on a rotational basis as neededUnit InformationNumber of Beds: 32Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5-1:6Nights: 1:6-1:8Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry systems, lift equipmentEMR: EPICResponsibilitiesUtilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include:Assessing and monitoring patient conditionsCoordinating patient care with ancillary departmentsEvaluating the effectiveness of care provided by the healthcare teamMaintaining confidentiality and patient rightsPerforming duties in alignment with professional standards and organizational valuesWorking ConditionsThis position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting patients as needed.
