You’ll blend technical precision with real payroll fluency to support a high‑volume, multi‑state workforce during a system overhaul. What You’ll Do Payroll SME & Escalation Support Handle complex payroll questions involving garnishments, wage and hour rules, multi‑state tax, and CBA‑driven pay. Explain not just what the system calculated — but why. In‑Cycle & Post‑Cycle Analysis Review gross‑to‑net, deductions, exception reports, and headcount changes. Reconcile weekly results, prepare summary reports, and support off‑cycle and retro pay adjustments. Data Integrity & Validation Run daily cross‑system checks across integrated HR/payroll platforms. Identify and resolve dropped, duplicated, or misaligned records before each cycle. SOP Optimization & Workflow Improvement Document, refine, and streamline payroll SOPs. Identify manual steps that can be automated and partner with senior analysts to redesign workflows as systems evolve. Year‑End & Tax Support Assist with W‑2 prep, taxable wage reconciliation, payroll register balancing, and quarterly 941 reviews. What You Bring Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–6 years of payroll analyst experience; construction experience a plus Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, garnishments, wage/hour law, multi‑state tax, and CBA pay rules Advanced Excel + Microsoft 365 skills Experience building checklists, logs, and SOPs; strong documentation habits Familiarity with union payroll and fringe reporting preferred Interest in AI‑assisted tools and automation for payroll workflows FPC preferred (or required within 12 months); CPP encouraged #J-18808-Ljbffr
