As a Night Dispatcher you will work as a member of a tight knit 24/7 Operations team with a deep commitment to customer service, meeting customer needs while maintaining strong and positive relationships with our fleet of dedicated owner operators and agent carriers. This position will work in the office for the overnight shift, in addition to rotating on-call.

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Dispatching dedicated owner operators and brokered agent carriers, including participation in scheduled on-call rotations; and
• Planning and fleet management support; and
• Booking brokered repositioning backhauls to get our owner operators efficiently to their next scheduled moves; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a member of the Operations team, you will learn all facets of our dispatch operations, including our custom computer programs.

This work requires:

• A minimum of 2 years of transportation dispatch experience;
• A fast and willing learner, able to assimilate, retain, and use complex systems with lots of moving parts;
• A self-starter, able to operate effectively on your own and as part of a close-knit team;
• The ability to work and thrive in a high-pressure, high stakes environment in which change is a constant, and time is always of the essence;
• A demonstrated willingness and ability to go “above and beyond” to resolve questions and solve problems creatively;
• Exceptional attention to detail;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs
