Base pay range $40.00/hr - $70.40/hr Job Description Prepares procedure room and scrubs/assists MD during cardiac catheterization and interventions including stent placements, balloon angioplasties, heart valve replacements, and/or EP procedures. Prepares and drapes patients for the procedure, answers questions and ensures patient comfort. Enters patient, procedure and equipment details into the system. Monitors patient hemodynamic status during the procedure, including electrocardiogram, blood pressure and chest pain. Retrieves imaging and other pertinent data and performs all necessary calculations for physician's interpretation of results. Balances, calibrates and records appropriate hemodynamic data and intervenes in cardiopulmonary emergencies. Operates equipment properly in a reliable manner, per departmental standards and complying with all safety guidelines/policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. BLS certification, current (BLS). RCIS/RCES (within one year of hire with completion of an accredited CVT program) OR licensed RT (ARRT certification) with invasive experience. Preferred Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in health science or related field. ACLS certification.
