Distribution AssociateThe Distribution Associate is responsible for warehouse and material distribution activities, including processing customer orders, picking and packing products, palletizing shipments, and preparing orders for shipment.Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Moderate overtime may be required based on operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.Pick, scan, and palletize completed orders.Use RF scanners/technology to process warehouse orders.Verify order accuracy and properly package shipments.Scan completed pallets and operate a shrink wrapper when required.Perform dock manifest and ground/manual manifest duties as needed.Learn other warehouse functions and provide backup support during employee absences or vacations.Follow warehouse safety and operational procedures.Required Skills & QualificationsPrevious pallet jack operation experience – Required.Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification.Ability to operate MHE and use RF scanning equipment.Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.Basic organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.General knowledge of warehouse/distribution operations.Approximately 1 year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.Ability to lift 50+ lbs. in some areas.Ability to work around and safely operate material handling equipment.Ability to climb occasionally when required.Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform warehouse and MHE-related duties.Work EnvironmentWarehouse/distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels.Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment.May involve temperature changes, fumes, airborne particles, and other warehouse-related conditions.Must follow all applicable workplace safety procedures.
