About the Role:
Accent Drapery Co Inc is looking for a skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our team in Columbus, OH! This is a hands-on role where you'll bring beautiful window treatments to life in various commercial, health care and residential spaces. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and delivering a polished finished product, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install a variety of custom window treatments including blinds, roll shades, shutters, draperies, and curtain rods
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine proper mounting and installation methods
- Ensure all installations are level, secure, and meet quality standards
- Communicate professionally with clients during in-home or commercial installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order
- Coordinate with the office team on scheduling, job details, and material needs
Requirements:
- Prior experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, or a related trade preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional, courteous demeanor when working in clients' homes or businesses
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work at heights using ladders and/or scaffolding
- Typical working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
