Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel L&D / Postpartum / Special Care Nursery / NICU RN | Laramie, WY Location: Laramie, Wyoming Specialty: L&D / Postpartum / Special Care Nursery / Pediatrics / NICU RN Contract Length: 8 Weeks Shift: Rotating ⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week EMR: EPIC ⚡ Position: Rapid Response Crisis Position Overview Seeking experienced L&D / Postpartum / Special Care Nursery / NICU RNs to provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Special Care Nursery and NICU experience is required. The RN will care for patients across the applicable areas while coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and delegating appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a NICU RN Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Current, valid Wyoming RN license in good standing Special Care Nursery & NICU experience required Previous hospital experience preferred BLS required NRP required ACLS required if performing C-section circulating or recovery-room duties, as determined by the department PALS required when caring for pediatric patients L&D nurses must complete Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring within the first year after orientation L&D nurses must complete Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring within 3 years of labor orientation Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within scope of practice Provide patient and family education based on individual needs Transcribe and implement protocols and physician orders Coordinate with the healthcare team Delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel Maintain patient confidentiality Demonstrate strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Work effectively with limited immediate supervision Maintain ethical and legal accountability CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID 299138.
