Senior Procurement Lead

The Opportunity In this role you will: Develop, implement, and manage equipment sourcing strategies, from identification of supply chain partners through to receipt of materials on site , including expediting of orders Understands industry trends, identifies gaps & recommends actions to ensure support of Business Act as a strategic partner and maintain alignment with business partners , including client technical teams to ensure ongoing support of the strategies agreed Lead the decision-making process and make recommendations on awards based on your expert market knowledge Gathers commodity- and product-specific market intelligence, including but not limited to price trends, industry capacity, and supplier strategies Own the evaluation of bids to determine the best overall value, reviewing quotations and proposals against specifications and terms and conditions Manage various bid requests and contract developments with rigorous attention to detail, partnering with legal and finance teams when needed Develop statements of work, performance terms and Service Level Agreements for the project Monitors and manages supplier performance. Ensures continuity of supply and risk mitigation activities. Utilise client specific procurement systems and processes as required , ensuring compliance with all stage gate approvals Review procurement practices on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with relevant laws Use your expert knowledge to identify and drive innovation in the procurement and supply chain process We would love to hear from you if you: Have grown your procurement experience over the last 10 years with increasing levels of leadership Have experience in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or from an EPC background in the oil and gas sector Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline Have a CIPS certification or are on the path to complete it. We can help Have strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations Thrive on building positive relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun Are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required. The salary range for this role is between $108,000 to $145,067 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
