Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated emergency and specialty team in Mobile, Alabama. This role is ideal for an experienced emergency doctor who values a collaborative environment, advanced medical resources, and the opportunity to work within a respected AAHA-accredited hospital.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with overnight and weekend shifts. Emergency services are provided from 12:00 am to 8:00 am and 6:00 pm to 11:59 pm on weekdays, and 24/7 on weekends. The emergency department is closed from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The schedule includes access to specialty services as needed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The emergency veterinarian will be responsible for managing urgent and critical cases, delivering timely and high-quality care, and maintaining clear communication with clients, colleagues, and referring partners. This position is open to experienced candidates only and requires strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team-oriented approach and commitment to compassionate care are essential.

This well-equipped hospital offers 24/7 emergency care alongside specialty services in Anesthesia & Analgesia, Radiology, and Surgery. The facility includes advanced surgical suites, MRI and CT imaging, in-house laboratory capabilities, isolation wards, digital radiography, thermally regulated oxygen cages, blood transfusion resources, and more. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
