Clinical Pharmacist I (Remote)We are seeking a licensed Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy operations team responsible for reviewing medication prior authorizations and coverage determinations across government-sponsored and commercial health plans. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy clinical decision-making, working in a fast-paced environment, and making a direct impact on patient access to medications. In this role, you will review and evaluate prior authorization requests, apply clinical criteria and evidence-based guidelines, and collaborate with internal teams to support quality patient care. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, quick learners, and comfortable managing a high-volume workload.A typical day consists of reviewing approximately 140-160 prior authorization requests and coverage determinations. Pharmacists are expected to independently assess clinical information, apply coverage criteria, and make timely decisions while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.This is a contract position based out of Austin, TX. The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
