Registered Nurse - Post Surgical PACU - PRN

The role requires an experienced registered nurse proficient in providing independent, comprehensive care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation to meet patients' physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects, and document all patient interactions accurately. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues and resources, addressing their learning needs. Qualifications At least one year of relevant nursing experience, and active RN licensure in the state or a compact license. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, with specific timeframes for renewal based on experience and role. Attending orientation, completing competency validations, and maintaining ongoing certifications. Knowledge of perioperative or acute care settings, along with strong clinical assessment and communication skills, are preferred.
