Back-up painter when necessary. Route maintenance of paint line equipment. Support PM Requirements. Completion of check sheets. Preparation of paint for application. Physical and visual checks on metal entering and exiting paint room. Managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations. Operation of Forklift. What will make you successful? Required Education/Experience: Knowledge of paint processes. Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy. Must have ability and willingness to move into Painter role within six months. Must be able to successfully pass pulmonary/respiratory testing. Must have ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy drums (up to 250 pounds)ofpaint on a regular basis with a partner. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing. HSD / GED preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Team player; Self-starter. Adaptable to change.
