Job Description:
Skills - Data Modelling, Teradata
Responsibilities:
- Interact with stakeholders for requirement
- Lead Data Model design based on requirement gathered while working with functional team
- Review functional requirements and technical specifications and document them as needed
Requirements:
- Around 10+ years of experience on complex transformation and loading of high-volume data in terabytes
- Good communication skills, interpersonal relations, hard working and result oriented as an individual
- Strong knowledge of database technologies and principles, including data modeling, data mapping etc.
- Strong experience with data analysis, troubleshooting data issue
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
- Understand the upstream business process and build Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
- Strong Knowledge of modeling around Master Data like Assets, Organization structures and hierarchies
- Lead Data Model design based on requirement gathered while working with functional team
- Experience is Data Modeling Tools like ERWIN, VISIO
- Experience in Data Profiles and understanding the source systems
- Strong SQL programming skills and strong RDBMS knowledge
- Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies
- Work with customers to understand reporting and system integration requirements
- Coordination of offshore work
- Should have Experience in designing the data mart and datawarehouse
- Should demonstrate excellence in understanding the existing data models and ability to redesign them as per changing business needs
- Should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Should have experience in dealing with business users and Sr. Management
- A strong knowledge of business intelligence design concepts, with a concentration in dimensional modeling in RDBMS
- A strong working knowledge of SQL
- Should have worked on projects involving medium – large data warehouses
