About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: Scrub experience required; must be able to float to Main OR as needed Description: Position available in an outpatient clinic with the requirement to float to the Main OR as needed. Scrub experience is required, as the nurse will circulate and scrub in various surgical procedures. Patient ratio is 1:1. Previous charge experience is preferred. Robotic experience for surgical technicians is preferred as robotic surgeries are performed weekly. Travelers will need to float between like units as necessary. The facility is an acute care hospital serving diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics. Interdisciplinary support available includes interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility performs a range of surgeries including gynecologic, ENT, and urologic procedures. Two references covering one year are required prior to start. Completion of training modules is expected prior to the start date, which will be self-reported for completion verification.
