Operating Room Registered Nurse

RNs will work in a surgical environment. The unit has 4 surgical suites but runs 3 concurrently. RNs will cover Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU. The average number of cases per day is 9. Call requirements are rotated among trained RNs, approximately 5 days per month. Weekday call runs from 2:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Weekend call runs from 2:30 PM on Friday until 6:30 AM on Monday. RNs must be prepared to respond and make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases. Scrubs will be provided. This job requires a week-long orientation for unit-specific training. All clinicians must clock in and out while on duty. The cancellations policy allows clients to cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
