Senior Tax Preparer

Dizario Search is partnered with a small but growing CPA firm on Cleveland's west side that is looking to add a Senior Tax Preparer to their team. They are seeking an experienced tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, navigating complex tax matters, and serving as a trusted advisor while also providing leadership by reviewing and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities Preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns, including multi-state filings Managing client engagements from start to finish while delivering exceptional client service Providing proactive tax planning, projections, and advisory services Preparing complex Schedule C, E, and F returns Reviewing the work of junior staff to ensure technical accuracy and compliance Researching tax law changes and identifying planning opportunities for clients Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm's continued growth Qualifications 5+ years of individual tax preparation experience in public accounting Strong knowledge of individual tax planning, compliance, and tax research Experience working directly with clients in an advisory capacity Experience reviewing the work of junior staff Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) CPA license is a plus, but not required Experience with QuickBooks, UltraTax, Accounting CS, OfficeTools, or TaxDome is a plus The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys client interaction, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is looking to grow with a firm that values collaboration, professional development, and long-term relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dizario Search
