Maintenance TechnicianKey Skills: Maintenance Technician, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Equipment, Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, Welding, Die Casting Machine Cells, PLC, Ladder Logic. Job Summary: Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.Responsibilities:Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots such as models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.Performs both gas and electric welding operations.Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.Skills Required:Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Pay rate up to $37.00/HR depending on the candidate's skill set and experience not more than that. Sign on bonus is also available effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for 1 year.
