Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night; 3x12s or 4x12s)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission; proficient in Epic; strong neuro critical care experience; ventilator management; IV drip titration; telemetry monitoring; conscious sedation; dysrhythmia recognition and management; emergency response and critical care management; BLS (American Heart Association only); ACLS (American Heart Association only); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing support in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and recognize and manage dysrhythmias.
• Manage ventilators and titrate IV drips.
• Provide emergency response and critical care management.
• Float to stepdown, emergency, or medical-surgical units to care for ICU patients being held.
