Title Antigen Technician Duration 12 Months Contract Location DeSoto, KS 66018 Shift Mon-Friday 8a-4:30pm Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent required, BS in Biology or related Science preferred. Relevant manufacturing experience (1‑3 years). Analytical, scientific, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills. Strict attention to detail and safety. Ability to lift 25 pounds on an intermittent basis. Comprehensive understanding of aseptic processes in daily activities. Demonstrated knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. Basic awareness of quality improvement tools and MPS processes. Understanding and awareness of USDA regulations. Work in an aseptic lab setting—no jewelry, no makeup, no product on nails or lashes. Responsibilities Perform cleaning of filters with steam/sterilization. Assist with warehouse tasks such as unboxing single‑use materials, pallet‑jack moving, and prep work for equipment setup. Participate in antigen manufacturing activities—including preparation and sterilization of equipment and media, fermentation of bacterial antigens, and downstream processing. Carry out upstream and downstream processing of M Hyo antigen. Support cleaning and preparation activities for the SUB‑Processing Department. Maintain warehouse space, general housekeeping, and preparation of materials. Follow schedule and team‑lead instructions for setup and processes. Ensure aseptic conditions to keep antigen sterile; adhere to Good Documentation Practices. Demonstrate attention to detail, consistent error‑free execution, and accurate documentation.
