Physical Therapist

Position Overview

Join our dedicated Patient Care Team in a dynamic Outpatient Clinic environment. This role focuses on providing exceptional care to patients while promoting overall health and wellness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Examining Patients: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Determine diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies based on assessment outcomes.
Designing Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and adjust therapeutic plans aimed at alleviating impairments and functional limitations to enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities.
Preventing Health Issues: Advocate for injury and disability prevention by promoting health, fitness, and wellness for patients of all ages.
Consultation, Education, and Research: Share knowledge with colleagues and the community and engage in ongoing research to contribute to advancements in physical therapy practices.
Maintaining Patient Records: Ensure accurate and current patient documentation, including physician orders, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Timely submission of charges for services provided is also required.

Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of experience in Pelvic Health is required.
Completion of training as prescribed by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association.
Graduate from an AMA-APTA approved physical therapy program.
Membership or eligibility for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or the American Registry of Physical Therapy.
Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado, or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
Current CPR Certification.
