Unit Information: Delivery Room / (708) Location: Wesley Medical Center N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: 2 Building: Main Entrance General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -26 Number of Staff 112 Type of staff: Day Shift 1 CNC(TL), 14 nurses, 2-3 ST, 2-unit clerks Night Shift 1 CNC (TL),, 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk Patient Ratios 1:1 high risk labor c-sections; 1:2 antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag; 1:3 PP mag no baby, Outpatients Type of equipment Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN(GE) monitor EMR Meditech / CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Circulating C-sections High risk LDR experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): C-sections and Inductions AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler Best personality Fit: Compassionate, caring, friendly, patient and solutions oriented Patient care experience is a priority Unit Guidelines/ feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
