Providing leadership for a portfolio of power plant design and construction projects, the full-time remote Texas Licensed Gas Power Projects Leader will manage project performance, oversee a team of Project Managers, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout all project phases. Key responsibilities Direct and oversee project scope management, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple projects Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers while ensuring program excellence in quality, safety, and cost performance Establish governance processes and maintain transparent communication with senior leadership regarding program status and key decision points Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field); PgMP certification preferred Minimum of 15 years of Project or Program Management experience in power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors Extensive experience in leading the construction of natural gas-fired power plants Strong understanding of safety regulations and permitting processes relevant to the Texas energy sector Proven success in managing EPC firms and overseeing complex contracts
